WAITING COSTS LIVES
Nearly 23% of patients didn't receive the help they needed from community mental health teams - up from 22% the previous year.
Some Children endured 5 months to more than a year in waiting time between referrals and actual treatment.
Urgent adult mental health crisis referrals in England soared from 1,400 to 3,063 a year - now at breaking point.
The number of people in contact with secondary mental health services has jumped 43% since 2019. Urgent referrals to crisis teams have more than doubled in just one year.
